At $20/month you get GPT-5.5 Thinking, image generation in chat, advanced voice mode, the Code interpreter for spreadsheet work, and custom GPTs you can share with the team. In our test it was the only tool that could take a screenshot of a broken landing page and explain the CSS fix, or turn a messy CSV of 400 leads into a clean segmented list. The catch we hit repeatedly: the context window (~32K at the Plus tier) means it forgets the top of a long contract if you paste the whole thing. For anything under roughly 30 pages, it is brilliant. That is a terminal tool that reads your actual codebase, makes edits, and runs commands. Our developer stopped pasting code into a browser tab and let Claude Code refactor a 2,000-line module directly. For writing, Claude's voice reads like a competent colleague rather than a cheerleader, which mattered for the investor update nobody wanted to sound fake.
The limit: no image generation, and during peak hours a heavy Pro user can hit a rate cap and wait. For document analysis — contracts, a 120-page competitor PDF, a year of support tickets — Claude simply does not hit the wall ChatGPT Plus does. That single difference decided three of our use cases.
